Notable impact

Beyond usability, my work is focused on driving real business outcomes. I’ve shipped products with organizations like UPS, Academy Sports, Loblaw Digital, and Microsoft—many of which are live today. Here are a few notable impacts.

Read my resume for more details.

Latest thinking

My approach to design iterates as I learn. Rather than following a fixed process, I adapt based on the industry, scale, and urgency. Here are some principles that have been shaping how I approach problems recently.

Designing for root causes

It’s easy (and fast) to ship solutions that solve symptoms. I work with Product teams to question whether we’re addressing a symptom or if immediately solving the root cause could be more fruitful.

Edge cases impact craft

Certain problems require extra attention. I love exploring edge cases to make sure large, high-impact systems can scale appropriately, and to avoid costly rework later on.

Progress with subtraction

Design shouldn't just be about adding new features. Consolidation, removal, and simplification are often more impactful, especially across legacy platforms and systems.

After work ends

Outside of work, you can catch me on my bike, gaslighting myself into thinking long climbs are "fun".
